1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Relay you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be 18+ and legally able to enter contracts. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

• No harassment, threats, or content that endangers a child.
• No fraudulent, illegal, or infringing content.
• No attempts to break, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant Relay a limited license to store, process, and display it to you and your co-parent so we can operate the service.

5. AI features

Tone Guard, Assistant, and Creator use third-party AI (Google Gemini via Lovable AI Gateway). AI output can be inaccurate — review before relying on it. Do not use AI output as legal advice.

6. Proof packets & legal use

Relay generates PDF "proof packets" summarizing exchanges, messages, and expenses. These are informational records. Relay is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Admissibility in court is determined by your jurisdiction.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Relay is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD $50 if none).

9. Termination

You may stop using Relay at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
